"I have no expectation," Lorang said. "If I'm losing $100,000, I'll be happy. If I have at least some of the bills being paid, I'll be the happiest person."It looks like Topeka will once again be in the hockey business. But this time, it looks like we might actually get a team that stays. I don't know if Mary Magalene Lorang is serious with that statement, but it brings hope that someone who doesn't care much about the finances wants the team to be here.
Plus, she says she will move to Topeka with the team, which means no more long-distance owners, and someone who will be part of the community.
I think this might actually work out!
